The Koshas

The five koshas, or ‘sheaths’ create a map for navigating the inner journey of yoga. The koshas are both a practical and profound contemplative tool that can help deepen your yoga practice. The kosha map can be used in the same way that a traditional map would be used when traveling—to orient oneself before heading out on the journey of your practice, your everyday life, or when you are getting lost or stuck (in an argument, in the chatter of mind or in the discomfort of a pose.) This experiential workshop is an in-depth look at the koshas through asana, meditation and discussion.
