Rhia Robinson Yoga

Joy, Understanding + Greater Connection to Spirit

through the Wisdom of Yoga and meditation

Motherhood, meditation, travel, writing and deep reflection are  sources of tremendous inspiration for me. My classes use the physical practices as access points to the more subtle and spiritual aspects of yoga such as observing mental and emotional patterns, and connecting to Spirit.

I discovered yoga when I was a teenager and have been teaching since 2002. Today, I lead public and private yoga classes, workshops and co-direct Svasta Yoga School.

I have Level I ParaYoga certification with Yogarupa Rod Stryker, and am also certified with 8 Limbs Yoga Centers and the Santa Barbara Yoga Center.

what students say

Rhia showed me how yoga could heal me both physically and emotionally. I learned how to take care of my body and I learned that the principles of yoga apply to everything in life.

I practiced with Rhia for quite a while before attending her Yin Yoga Teacher Training. The offering exceeded my expectations. I received a deeper understanding of fascia in conjunction with the purpose of the practice, as well as connections to broader yogic philosophy at the same time.

I knew immediately that there was something unique with Rhia’s approach to yoga. She makes yoga, the asana practice, the philosophy, Ayurveda and meditation accessible to everyone - the beginner to the long time practitioner. Over the years, through my practice with her I have been introduced to new styles and philosophies of yoga; each leaving its own impact and footprint in my mind and my practice.
